I'm a seasoned visual storyteller with over a decade of experience in television production and photojournalism. I began my career in Los Angeles as a sound mixer and camera operator, working with major networks such as ESPN, FOX Sports, MTV, Spike TV, HBO, and the History Channel.
In 2010, I pursued my passion for storytelling and photography, moving to Montana to attend the nationally recognized University of Montana School of Journalism. While there, I directed Guns in the Big Sky, an Emmy-nominated student documentary, served as the multimedia editor for the Honors Native News Project, and was one of only two student photographers nationwide selected by PBS NewsHour to cover the 2013 Presidential Inauguration for the InaugBlog.
An award-winning photojournalist, I launched my journalism career with The Ann Arbor News/MLive.com in Michigan. My work has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, and Time. In 2018, I joined the California State University Office of the Chancellor, where I provided visuals for all 23 campuses of the nation’s largest four-year university system.
Now based in Walla Walla, Washington, I am the Video & Multimedia Producer for Whitman College. I continue to freelance as a photojournalist, always seeking compelling documentary stories to tell.
